the way forward

The Legal Services Commission has confirmed that as from 1st April 2013....

Legal Advice in support of mediation will continue to be eligible for Legal Aid.

However private family law (other than cases where criteria are met regarding domestic violence or child abuse) will not be eligible.

Thus if you want or need to go to court to resolve your difficulties you will have to be in a position to pay for it yourself.

FMF has a wealth of a experience and is perfectly positioned to help be there for you as you make your first move in these uncertain times.
