Liz Guyler

Liz Guyler is a Lawyer Mediator with Family Mediation Forum. She qualified as a Solicitor some 30 years ago, but now spends much of her time working as a Family Mediator. She was one of the founder members of Family Mediation Forum and is now the Managing Director of the Company.

Liz qualified as a Mediator in 1995 having trained with the Family Mediators Association (FMA). She then undertook additional training with National Family Mediation (NFM) to qualify her to work as a Mediator with not for profit organisations such as Action for Children.

Liz is qualified to carry out Direct Consultation with children in the mediation process and is a qualified Supervisor of other mediators.

In the course of her career Liz also worked in her spare time as a counsellor with Relate.

Liz is qualified to carry out all forms of family mediation but because of her many years experience as a lawyer her particular skills lie in assisting former partners to settle complex financial issues.
